The goal of the event is to encourage the local pinoy developers to develop an application to suite the cardboard. Right now globe has it's own section in google play, where in the apps developed by partnership with globe and hackathon events are displayed.
Co-Anchor Arne Barcelo asked if the hackathon was open for all the people who wants to join, they said yes it's open but specifically for android developers only.
Co- Anchor Arne Barcelo introduced kuya Doy, of University of Santo Tomas to testify his experience with the Pope. Kuya Doy, was an active student council member of UST and at the same time he was a scholar student althrough out his college years, He said that he was chosen to lead the testimony to the Pope because he has the abilities in general and hardwork of his faith. And besides the tomasians will not wonder if he will be the representative because they are used to him.
His advocacy was asked by Co-Arne Barcelo, why he focuses on youth voice at the start of his testimony. He said that youths now still looked up for our previous heroes, which still lives their memories, but now we have no rizal or any other national heroes to stand up for the Philippines despite of early matured ages. Nowadays we can know everything through internet, which made him realize that our source of informations came also our source of destruction. That's why he's question to the Pope is, where can we find God in this innovating technology era, The Pope answered, is it bad to have this bunch of information? He said calmly.
The taught is the youth nowadays knows a lot, which is not bad. But what is bad is when we share it even if it's not worth sharing or it is bad to imply. And in the end the informations bacame wasted. Like the youth's are full but not nourished like a junkfood. To think, to love and to do is the key to the right social sharing of informations in harmony.
