Vigattin has reached another milestone as we successfully aired at DZIQ Radyo Inquirer 990 AM last Saturday, January 12. We tackled a very relevant issue: What is the state of Information Technology in our country right now?

Mr. Melvin Ryan Fetalvero of Chikka joined us in our discussion and he gave us some predictions about what's in store for the country's IT industry this year. He said that a lot of venture capitalists are looking for start-up IT firms because our IT professionals are making great innovations in their field. We should look forward to big surprises this year!

Cong. Mong Palatino also participated via phone patch. He told us about the Cybercrime Prevention Law and its oral argument in the Supreme Court tomorrow, January 15. This particular law is still hot with controversy, especially among the millions of online users affected by its provisions.

Lastly, Soulja Girl of Iligan also spoke with us through phone and she told us about the state of computer literacy in her province. She is a very accomplished hacker, considering that she studied hacking mostly by herself. She said that hackers aren't always the bad guys and they should also be given serious attention by the government for them to excel in their work.
