They promoted their upcoming coronation night on February 13, 2015, the pageant of Marketing Management students of PUP manila entitled Mr. & Ms. Marketing of Polytechnic University of the Philippines with the theme of "Concelation Aligning Beauty and Intelligence". The big upcoming coronation night expects a lot of audience which is open for outsider locals and for other PUP branches students.

Co-Anchor Arne Barcelo, introduced Mr. Emil Tapnio, the Program Director of USAID IDEA PhilDev Foundation and Israel Brizuela, founder of Paybilis. Emil said that PhilDev founded by the partinership of filipino and american engineers, entrepreneurs who at first wants to donate and help filipino businesses. Soon they planned to do it in a strategical way. The foundation’s mission is sustainable, long-term economic growth for the country. In 2013, PhilDev partners with USA for a 3-year program called IDEA. IDEA stands for Innovative Development through Entrepreneurship Acceleration, with the purpose of creating and strengthening sustainable science and technology based in the Philippines.
With it's big scope of idea, they targeting the academe, for engineering students to have an entrepreneurship subjects to help engineers to be also an entrepreneur. This will help them use their analytical thinking and right computations to become more strategic in terms of business coping and problem solving. At the same time IDEA partners with Commission on Higher Education(CHED) to institutionalize an entrepreneurship subjects on engineeering courses.
IDEA also inbounds with private industry, they plans to tackle up innovating start-up businesses entrepreneurs to help the ideal product hit in the market and make it more productive. IDEA provides training, conducts workshops. PhilDev S&T and USAID will be hosting an annual international symposium in areas of product innovation areas, entrepreneurship, and increasing expertise in productive innovations in science and technology. The annual IDEA Symposium will ?be a platform to create and expand connection between the US and Philippine HEIs, government officials, startup entrepreneurs, and industry leaders. The symposium will feature US professors and entrepreneurs and will be an important venue to link startup companies and venture capitalists with emerging technologies and expertise.
