Lawrence Libo-on, the program director of A-Hacks 2015 event reached Vigattin Radio to promote their "HACKATHON" activity on 2015. It is an event for the celebration of 20th year partnership of 8 Layers Technologies Inc. with Ateneo Department of Information Systems and Computer Science, and Ateneo Management Information System Associations. The organization aims to promote the culture of I.T. by hosting its first ever hackathon: A-Hacks 2015 #Hackstrong.
Hackathon is a collaboration of Computer Programmers, Graphic Designers, Interface Designers, and Project Managers to create or develop a software program. Some Hackathons are intended simply for educational or social purposes which is the goal of Ateneo Hackathon.
The event will be on January 10, to January 11 of 2015 and will lasts only in 24hrs, This will be participated by the registered undergraduate students from different Universities. Registration is free same as food. But to validate and complete the registration, the registrants are required to present a proof that they are currently enrolled in their respective schools. Mr. Liboon added that the application for Hackathon event is until December 15 2014 only and this is first come first serve because the slots is limitted.
The mission of the event is to help the students to have a platform to develop their skills together with their peers in their future work collaboration. Ateneo hackathon is different. Unlike the other hackathon that allows proffessionals to join.

For CHARITIES, to find a KIND HEART that will help their charitable projects and spread the kind heart. For HEALTH, to promote a HEALTHY LIFESTYLE for everyone. For EARTH, to unite the people and SAVE THE EARTH by spreading awareness to care for our nature. for PASSION, to Follow their passion and everyone will follow. These are all mission of Protees Project, and will be all achieved by making customer's shout out designs in T-Shirts.
Although tshirt printing needs capital, effort, time and risk, Protees Project's solution is to help all fund raisers to make T-Shirts without capital. Convenient because the only thing that the fund raiser will just submit their T-Shirt design and the protees project will be making the marketing materials from their page, ordering, payments, and delivery door to door. The fund raiser needs to provide their advocacy that has to have atleast 10 orders. And if they don't have design, the protees is the one to make it for them base priced of tshirts depends on it's target no. of tshirts.
Protees Project administrators begin with promotion of Fm Celebrity(dj chacha) for her fans. and got a total of 100 tshirts sold. As a result the project boomed and got a lot of customers. Soon they started to make their own retailing and marketing. Protees project also recently served some famous universities like Mapua, PLM, and University of the Philippines.
Though Mr. Napoleon and Mr. Martin is at their middle age and beginners for their T-Shirt business, they still took the risk of any downside in competitive working community. Their business started at their own money capitals. And now their business is growing and they dont even use their own money for the circulation of their T-Shirt Projects. And also they are the ones who made their website that lessens their stress in business.
Now they made it to different regions in the Philippines, Protees project aims for worldwide transactions and victory above all.
