Overview
The Museum of Natural History (MNH) of the University of the Philippines Los Baños (UPLB) is a center of documentation and a repository of biological specimens for scientific reference. It is a center of research, information, and education. The museum has a diverse collection of more than 200,000 preserved Philippine animals, plants, cultures of living microorganisms, and other biota that showcase the country’s rich biodiversity. It houses most of the priceless collections of birds and small mammals of the late Dr. Rabor. Furthermore, in its Hortorium is a diverse collection of living plants. The museum is also actively involved in public education through exhibits, lectures on biodiversity, taxonomy, biology, and ecology of varied flora and fauna.

How to Get There

Take the bus that has a trip going to Sta. Cruz, Laguna. The bus will pass by Los Baños. Tell the driver or conductor to drop you off at UPLB, more popularly known as “College”. Then, ride a jeep going to campus.
