Mary Bernadette Tan, lover of all things food, and a graduate of the Center for Culinary Arts, eventually perfected her original chocolate truffes in 2008 after numerous attempts to create the perfect this tasty chocolate treat. It has become much sought-after and a favorite since. She personally prepares the truffes in her kitchen at home in Quezon City, from start to finish.

With the support of her family, Truffes continues to grow. New recipes are constantly being considered and created, including new truffle variants and other pastries.
