Co-anchor Arne Barcelo asked why U.S. President Barack Obama built this program in South East Asia instead of America's continent. Ms. Angel answered that President Obama , as a poweful president of America, He wants to focus more on this side of the world, and as we all know the 2015 ASEAN integration coming up, and this region is supposed to be one of the powerful communities.
Mr. Tobit followed that before YSEALI, their organization started some youth organization from Africa and they treat YSEALI as a counterpart of it, and it's goal is to mold more South East Asian leaders as we came close to the integration as well.
Co-anchor Arne Barcelo became curious on how these young leaders joined the YSEALI, John said that they were the members of the alumni which is actually a network of people who's been through the US for visiting scholarships and stage programs, and so when they returned back in the Philippines they are encouraged to do certain initiatives for their own community which is YSEALI is one of them.
Ms. Angel added that registration for YSEALI is still up and it is open for opportunities like the recent summit in singapore open for proposal and grants.
Mr.Kim the co-member of Mr.Tobit in ANGAT Kabataan, handles the enterprise. Each bokashi balls can clean 1 sq.meter of creek, and can serve as food for good bacteria so they can multiply faster.
After the effectiveness of their inspired product from the original Mudball idea of Japan, they received orders of bokashi balls from the Governor of Rizal to rehabilitate the 'Hinulugang Taktak'.
They proudly said that Vietnam and Cambodia also produces now bokashi. This product was just a great example of their proposed projects and connectivity through YSEALI., and they were looking forward for some ideas with the members to help different countries with the team and not just for their organization purposes.
