Seldom do people get the chance to experience nature in its wild, pristine state and appreciate the subtle yet essential intricacies between the forests, streams. rocks, and all the living things that depend on them and inhabit them.  The Manleluag Spring National Park in Pangasinan gives the visitor the opportunity to be close to nature while enriching one's knowledge of the world around us.

The Manleluag Spring National Park has a total area of 1,941.7 hectares zoned as follows: 412.5 ha for wildlife habitat; 57.34 ha for multiple uses; 539.46 ha for sustainable use; 15.70 ha for restoration; 825 ha for buffer; and 91.7 ha for recreation.

Manleluag Spring Protected Landscape has low to rolling and moderately steep slopes of 40% with elevation of 315 m ASL. It has two hot springs, which accordingly cropped out in the area due to a small extinctl volcano present in the area.

Major land-use includes agricultural(farming, orchards, inland fishpond), forest and some mining activities. The site can be reached and is accessible through the 7-km dirt road from the national highway. From the central park, a series of pathways and foot trails were constructed connecting Brgy. Calomboyan, Catarataraan, Brgy. Laoac Lanca, Baracbac River and Basican River. The park is also surrounded with patrol trails and fire lines at the designated buffer zones/area for forest fire protection purposes. The present vegetation cover is relatively young and these include: secondary natural forest found mostly inside the park; plantation forest located at the buffer zone area and mixed with natural vegetation inside the park; and patches of abandoned farms and eroded areas colonized by grasses, shrubs, bamboo, invaders and pioneering species.
