Situated between Puerto Princesa and El Nido, San Vicente is another nicest place to visit in Palawan. The town is home to probably the longest beach in the Philippines, measuring 14km long with a stretch of white sand beach – the Long Beach.
A Promenade to Long Beach
Located New Agutaya, San Vicente, Long Beach is just 5 minutes away from the town proper. The beach is almost like a deserted white sand beach because there are no huge beach resorts, tourists, and loud bars.
The townsfolk have hailed the Long Beach as the “next Boracay”, because of its unspoiled and undamaged beauty which is just waiting to be discovered. It is twice the length of Boracay’s White Beach and its yellow color and whiteness sand is similar to Station 3 in Boracay.
Eyeing for Tourism
San Vicente Airport is currently being built in the town proper and some roads are being developed. Since the beach is located in the mainland, there are more space to build more and bigger hotels and resorts.
And after these developments, Long Beach is eyeing to become the next destination that will target by tourists. And if that’s happen, I am sure that it has a great potential for tourism.
Here are the nearest accommodations that you may check into after a long walk at the Long Beach.
