Together with the Anawangin Cove, Nagsasa Cove are among the top Philippine tourist destination in Central Luzon which are located in Zambales. Both coves are just close to major cities like Manila that’s why tourists can easily go there and have their weekend getaway on the beautiful cove.

Nagsasa is an amazing place with crystal clear waters and fine white sand beach which makes it much better than Anawangin Cove. The wonderful scenery and ambience of the place is totally perfect for bonding.
It is just a 45 minute boat ride from Pundaquit, Zambales. One can pass the Camara Island, Anawangin Cove and Talisayin upon reaching Nagsasa Cove. Tourists will be welcomed by friendly Aetas who are the most common locals of the place, they are also willing to guide you in touring around the corners of the cove and other nearby islands
One can enjoy many activities in Nagsasa, which includes camping, trekking, swimming, surfing and swimming. You can also have a tour to Capones Lighthouse located at Capones Island and adore the arts and music at Casa San Miguel. Tourist can also have a taste of the sweet and luscious mango of Zambales.
Getting there:
By Land - From Manila, one can take a bus which directly goes to Iba, Zambales. Tell the bus attendant to drop you off at the Municipal Hall of San Antionio. From there, you can go to the wet market behind the town hall and buy food and other supplies which you need upon going to Nagsasa Cove. Bus fare from Manila to San Antonio cost around 300 pesos.
From the town hall of San Antonio, have a tricycle ride and head to Pundaquit beach which will cost you around 30 pesos. Upon arriving at Pundaquit beach you can rent a boat there to take you to Nagsasa Cove. You can also book a tour package advanced so that you can easily have a boat ride to Nagsasa.
By Air/Sea – You can take a Mt. Samat Express (you can contact this number: 551-5290) ferry trip going to Subic in the Cultural Center of The Philippines which costs around 300 pesos. You can also take a Supercat ride from the Mall of Asia which also cost around 300 pesos. The ferry ride is an hour going to Orion, Bataan. From Orion, you can catch a bus to Subic for another hour or less and upon getting there you can have a bus ride to Iba, Zambales then to San Antonio.
One can also take a charter flight gong to International Subic Airport, Castillejos Airstrip or Iba Local Airport.
Accomodations:
There are no accommodations nearby Nagsasa but one can bring a tent or other camping materials. Bring also some food if you are going to have an overnight stay. You can also have a day trip in Nagsasa and have an overnight stay in Pundaquit or San Miguel where there are numerous hotels and restaurants. Take note that there is a camping fee for campers that costs around 150 pesos.
