Last Saturday at Vigattin Radio we discussed about online shopping and blogging with Ms. Arne Barcelo and guest anchor Mr. Alvin Barcelona together with Mr. Elison Barcelo. They are joined by esteemed guests Mr. Bill Thomas, an experienced marketing manager And Mr. Shawn Andrei Summers, a professional blogger.
On the first half of the show, Mr. Bill discussed about online shopping. He told Vigattin Radio that online shopping is not really new in the Philippines and it’s the best option to buy things if you don’t have time to go to department stores. When asked about on how he write articles about events that he is invited. He uttered that personally, he will go to an event that he would like and he will give feedback to the food that he eat to the PR but there are also times that there are events that is not so friendly for the bloggers. They think of bloggers as looters and it’s really demoralizing for their part, so he will not write an article for that particular event and will just give a feedback to the PR privately.
He later added that ”blogging is good for everybody because there is no sort of discrimination for as long as you know how to write and if you’re good in public relations, there is no problem.”
