Albay province is primarily known for the world-renowned Mayon Volcano. With diverse natural attractions, fine handicrafts and delectable cuisine, it is a province that a tourist should not miss to travel. Apart from Mayon Volcano, Albay has lots of tourist destinations that are eventually great for many activities. One of these is the Muladbucad White Beach.
Dubbed as the “Spring Water by the Bay”, it is one of the few white beaches in the Bicol Region that is easily accessible by land that is located at the heart of Manito, Albay, Muladbucad White Beach was publicly opened in 2013 and since then, it has attracted many tourists from nearby regions. It is being administered by the heirs of Simplicio Dawal.
The white beach is proclaimed as a ‘starfish sanctuary’ by the Governor of Albay for its numerous starfishes. It is just an hour away from Legazpi City which is a perfect escapade for travellers who wants to relax after their expeditions. Muladbucad is an ideal place where one can feel the lovely scent of nature and hear the beautiful songs of wild birds and the waves that whispers to your ears.
Everybody can enjoy the place and have their memorable moments with their family, friends and loved ones at the Muladbucad White Beach. Tourists can also have a free mineral spring water from the foot of the mountain which is just a few walks away from the beach’s center.The beach is located at Hologan, Manito, Albay.
How to get there:
From Manila, tourist can have a 45 minute flight going to Legazpi City via Philippine Airlines. They can also travel by land via aircon tourist bus companies which ply the Manila-Legazpi route daily with an average travel time of nine hours. The average travel time by train is sixteen hours via the Philippine National Railway, the country’s sole rail transportation service. From Legazpi City, Muladbucad White Beach is just a one hour ride.
