Of all the many islands in the Philippines, Puerto Galera is still one of the best destinations when it comes to ideal and perfect getaways. I've found the place irresistible since I made some write-ups about it. And in fact, it is now on my top list of must-see destinations.
Puerto Galera is known for its elegant beaches. Each has its own share of beauty that enthralls visitors throughout the archipelago. Dulangan Beach is one of Puerto Galera’s beaches you should discover.
A Serene Place to Stay – Dulangan Beach
Dulangan Beach never disappoints tourists. Of its many beach resorts, it provides all the amenities and accommodations that will satisfy the needs of the tourists – from food to rooms to special tours of various locations. One famous resort is the Ocean Beach Resort.
Dulangan Beach is an attraction itself. Many have said that it is one of the most photographed scenes because of its harmonious fashion of the sky, sand, and water. The sensation of the cool waters on your body, together with the purity of the air and the verdant greens and mountains gives you a profound feeling of being in paradise. It is a perfect combination of nature that soothes the eye of the tourists.
Of course, swimming is one of the major activities. A dip to its crystal-blue water will refresh you from the scorching heat of the sun. If you don’t like swimming, you can have a walk around and just feel and breathe the fresh air.

I am sure that couples will enjoy Dulungan Beach because of its romantic ambiance. Countless times, Puerto Galera has proven that it is indeed a nice place to visit!
How to get there
One good thing about Dulungan Beach is that its location is near the Puerto Galera Town Center. From there you can go to Varadero Bay and you will find Dulangan Beach. If you are staying near the town proper, a short ride on the tricycle will enable you to get to the beach in a short time.
Oriental Mindoro can be reached through land and sea transport. From Manila, take the Batangas-Laguna-Tayabas (BLTB), Tritran, and other Batangas-bound buses to the Batangas City pier. From there, take the super ferry boats bound for Calapan, which has several trips per day, or those bound for Puerto Galera. A roll-on-roll-off (RO-RO) ferry is convenient for those wishing to take their private vehicles.
In Mindoro Oriental, a number of jeepneys ply the capital from the neighboring towns and to the interior.
