The Katipunan is arguably the best-known proponent of the the Filipino struggle for independence against Spanish rule. The Katipunan is founded by Filipino mutineer that consists of Andres Bonifacio, Valentin Diaz, Teodoro Plata, Ladislao Diwa, Deodato Arellano and a few others. We now regard them as national heroes, and their memories are kept alive in the Museo Ng Katipunan.

It is a local museum that showcases artifacts and other mementos from the Katipunan era, highlighted by original KKK Flag, 17th century furniture and other relics.
