The Moro Towers is built in 1814 in order to repel the invading Moors and Portuguese colonizers. These half-torn structures, 7 feet squares with a height of 10 feet, are vivid souls of the past. Before they were destroyed, they were twice their present height. These towers are made of black pebbles, and are gradually eroding. One tower is on top of the hill at Sitio Nipa, Culasi, and the other one is at Brgy. Dumolog.

How to get there
For an affordable fare, you can take a boat from Manila under the Super Ferry or Negros Navigation. The trip lasts for a maximum of eighteen hours. For a lesser price, there is also a Roll-on Roll-off (RORO) bus option that passes by Roxas City straight from Cubao in Manila. For the jet setter, both Cebu Pacific and Philippine Airlines have flights to Roxas every morning daily. The plane ride costs a little higher, but will only take you 40-45 minutes.
