Lakwatsa Restolounge

Friday night, before our scheduled flight to Manila, we joined the fellowship dinner with PSITE at Lakwatsa Restolounge in Mandaue. This dinner is sponsored by Ng Khai Corp.

When we arrived at the venue, most of the people had already eaten and the cultural show had already started. Nonetheless, we still enjoyed our delicious dinner while watching the 10G Troupers, a group of versatile singers and dancers. They were presenting "Byahe," a series of song-and-dance numbers featuring the rich cultural heritage of the Philippines. The ambiance was light, the perfect place to relax with friends and family after a hard day's work. The area was also huge and can seat 500 people on a banquet setting.

We only saw the first part of the show because we still had a flight to catch, but we were awed with the talents and skills of the young performers. First, we had a culminating activity wherein the audience were given tambourines and sticks to join the rhythm of the instrumentalists on stage. They also did the opening act of Byahe and I could see that everyone really admired their performance. Courting in the Philippines and Underwater Love were also featured.
