Kirang Pass is a monument that commemorates the courage of the soldiers - both Japanese and Filipino - who fought during World War II. Located at Barangay Kirang, municipality of Aritao, 50 kilometers south of Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya, this landmark was built by Rakunsankai Society of Japan in 1978. Recent reconstruction was done in it using black glazed stone, and a memorial was engraved in the tablet in both Japanese and English languages. Kirang Pass is situated in a picturesque site with a background of reforested mountains and hills.
