Sinulog de Kabankalan Festival is held every third week of January in Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental, celebrating the feast of El Señor Sto. Niño. It is the town's version of Sinulog in Cebu City and Ati-atihan of Aklan.
This year, Kabankalan City celebrated the 37th Sinulog Festival last January 11-20, 2013, with its theme "Above and Beyond Fun: A Pageantry of Thanksgiving". On January 11, 2013, the celebration started with a holy mass at St. Francis Xavier Cathedral, followed by the Sinulog 2013 Invitational Shootfest at the Central Philippines State University at 8 AM to 4 PM. The City's Mayor, Isidro Zayco, led the opening salvo held at the town's public plaza around 5 PM along with the band and fireworks display at 7 PM.
The procession of the Sr. Sto. Niño Image in the city's main road was participated by various parishes, schools, and townsfolk.
