Isabela Museum and Library preserves Isabela's rich historical and cultural heritage. On display are the museum’s collections of antiques including artifacts, fossils, ethnographic items, heirloom pieces, visual arts (photographs, paintings, sculpture, and graphic arts), historical and cultural dioramas, and miniature models of provincial landmarks, among others. Since its inauguration on 11 May 1999, the museum has been located in Ilagan's old capitol building.
How to get there
By Plane
If you are going to the town by riding a plane, there are airline companies that have direct flights from Manila to Cauayan City (one of the cities in Isabela). From Cauayan, you need to ride a bus or jeepney going to different towns and cities of the province, including the town of Ilagan.
By bus
Riding a bus is cheaper than riding a plane, but the travel will last more or less 10 hours. From Manila, there is a direct route to Cauayan City. Upon arrival in the city, ride another bus or jeepney going to Ilagan. You can also enter Ilagan via Tuguegarao.
