If there is one place that pleases the senses, it is the beautiful island of Iloilo. It is teeming with different natural wonders that may just as well be the reason why people keep coming back here for more. Of all the many fascinating attractions that the province has, Igbaras Mountain Ranges is one of the major ternaries of the traveler when visiting Iloilo.
For many climbers of Igbaras, they describe it as a delightful experience that no such artwork or words can fully describe. From the peak, you can see the towns of Miagao, Tubungan and of Igbaras itself. At the left side is the stunning Tarugan Falls with the lovely dark orange tones, coated with dark browns and greens – the colors of nature. Other beautiful scenery includes the fields around Sitio Cabubugan, and Mount Napulak that rises stunningly up to almost 4,000 ft into the skies, and Mount Kanlaon in Negros Occidental.

A Worth Trek to Igbaras
Climbing Igbaras is a good workout. Mountain trekkers who climb it take 4 to 8 hours to get to the top, but it depends on their jump-off point. The usual route that is given for getting to the mountains is from Poblacion to Bagay, or from Poblacion to Tigbanaba. Camping is also allowed in the mountain.
The best way before going to the Igbaras mountain ranges is to consult the Department of Tourism, located at Iloilo City. They can provide you some of the important information that you need to get to the mountain.
