The rustic town of Corcuera in the mountainous province of Romblon is laden with different historical sites. It denotes the Romblomanon existence and the role it played in history. The town is also overflowing with the bounty of nature that gives visitors much pleasure and appreciation of how gifted the province is.
1. Bayani/Tamaraw Hill – This historical landmark was once a battleground during World War II.
2. Suba Bay Lagoon – The lagoon is a 28-hectare body of water the lies ensconced between Barangay San Roque and Mabini providing a magnificent view of serene waters.
3. Boton Beach and Manaha Beach Cotta Tower – These are wide stretches of white beaches ideal for swimming. The place is a good location to spend leisure time together with families and friends.
4. Guinawagan Cave – The cave is a dome-like structure that abounds with stalagmites and stalactites and pools of cool water where one can refresh after exploring the cave.
5. Lis-ong Cave – Like the Guinawagan Cave, it is a cave with plenty of stalactites and stalagmites. It has its own natural beauty that attracts many spelunkers.
6. Panorama Point – It is a point along the road where passing inter-island vessels can be viewed and serves as shelter during inclement weather.
7. Grotto of the Immaculate Conception – Located at the peak of Mount Andradoon is a grotto of the Immaculate Concepcion where devotees usually go and pray during Lenten season.
8. Cotta Tower - situated on a hill overlooking the town and a 150 meter hike from the town plaza, the tower is the remains of a Spanish fort constructed between 1860-1865 by San Agustin de Pedro to ward off Muslim pirates.

From Manila to Corcuera
By air: There are regular morning flights from SEAIR departing from Manila Domestic Airport every Monday, Thursday and Saturday to Tugdan Domestic Airport. Travel time is less than an hour. A five-hour jeepney ride will take you to the town of Calatrava where you will take an hour-long pumpboat ride to the island of Corcuera.
By sea: For those who want take a leisurely 10-hour sea trip on MV Mary the Queen of MBRS Lines, that departs every Monday and Friday at 5:00 PM from Manila’s Pier 8 to Odiongan Port. A two-hour jeepney ride will take you to the town of Calatrava where you will take a one-hour pumpboat ride to the island of Corcuera.
