Menzi Tourism Complex is a five-hectare lot where the heritage villa of the late general Hans M. Menzi is located. The site has been developed to provide a very good venue for conferences, conventions, and hotels to cater to the needs of visiting tourists. Trade and exhibition centers and a golf course are being proposed to serve as an ideal recreation site.
The complex is a government-owned property and an approximate 10-minute ride drive from the town proper of Mati and overlooking the vast rolling terrain planted with the famous mango fruit and pomelos now owned and managed by the farmer's cooperative.
How to get there
Mati, the provincial capital of Davao Oriental, can be reached from Manila by taking any of the daily scheduled airline flights to Davao City or regularly scheduled inter-island vessels which ply the Manila-Davao City route. From, Davao City, Mati is accessible by 25-minute chartered plane or via 3-hour private car ride or a 4-hour public utility bus ride on a fully concreted and/or asphalted highways.
