Have the Best Resort at Pamalican Island

Being nominated as one of the best island resorts in the world, Pamalican Island is a small island of the Cuyo Islands, floating in the brilliant-blue waters of the Sulu Sea. The island is in the middle of a 7-square-kilometer coral reef having the length of 2.5 kilometers and measuring only 500 meters at its widest point.

Pamalican Island Resorts

Pamalican Island was originally exploited as a struggling family-owned plantation. The island was purchased by Andres Soriano Jr., a successful businessman.

Then, his children decided to build a resort on the island and leased the management responsibility to establish an exclusive resort. The island is a private property that belongs in totality to 7 Seas Resort owned by the Sorianos.

The island is part of the high-end resort group, Aman Resorts, under the name Amanpulo. It is a serene retreat offering pure white sands, turquoise seas, and endless blue skies.

The entire island of Pamalican is dedicated to Amanpulo, fringed by seven square kilometers of pristine coral reef and lapped by the tranquil Sulu Sea.

Available diving activities offers a nice coral viewing and encounters with large turtles and rays. Several wind surf boards and sails are provided at the Windsurf Hut on the north shore.
