Mr. and Ms. China Town Grand Coronation Night was held last June 30, 2013 at Newport Theater, Resorts World Manila with 32 modern Filipino-Chinese candidates, 16 beautiful ladies and 16 gentlemen from Chinese community.

Mr. and Ms. China Town Winners

Mr. and Ms. China Town Grand Coronation Night was held last June 30, 2013  at Newport Theater, Resorts World Manila with 32 modern Filipino-Chinese candidates, 16 beautiful ladies and 16 gentlemen from Chinese community.

The coronation night was aired on ABS-CBN’s Sunday’s Best at 10:30 PM, hosted by popular TV personalities, Xian Lim, Enchong Dee, Gretchen Ho and Alex Gonzaga who replaced Kim Chui whose mother died recently.

Richard Yap and Ms. Janine Tugonon (Miss Universe 1st Runner Up 2012) were also present in the competition as two of the judges.

During the Finals Night, the No. 8 male candidate, Mr. Randy See was hailed as the Mr. Chinatown 2013 with special awards as Best in Active and Informal Wear while the No. 4 female candidate, Ms. Rolini Lim Pineda was crowned as the Ms. Chinatown 2013 who also received the Best in Evening Gown award.

Before the Grand Coronation Night, Mr. and Ms. China Town appeared in some TV shows in ABS-CBN plugging the on-air Coronation Night pageant.

Missions

  • To celebrate the achievements of the modern Fil-Chinese woman from the Chinese community of the country.
  • To serve as a unifying event for Fil-Chinese communities that will open doorways to working together towards better business, cultural & artistic goals.
  • To celebrate and show the diversity of beauty in the Fil-Chinese culture.
  • To redefine Fil-Chinese beauty in modern times: possessing very admirable traditional values but with very contemporary and progressive stance and projection.
  • To spearhead a new pageant rich in Chinese tradition and modern touches.
