Inside a cave in Barangay Basiao of Basey, Province of Samar the local women continue an age old tradition of weaving ticog matts with intricate designs. 
Most of these woven products have been used for local consumption but some have been exported.
They chose to weave inside the cave because of the coolness and shade from the scorching sun.
