Last Saturday on Vigattin Radio, the show provided laughter to the listeners while comedians discussed comedy. They also talked about the havoc brought by Typhoon Mario and the southwest monsoon or Habagat.
As usual, Saturday’s episode was co-anchored by Den Macaranas and Arne Barcelo together with blogcaster Ross del Rosario of Wazzup Pilipinas.
Their guests were comedians Rene Cruz Jr. — Junior Writer for GMA’s Bubble Gang and Juan Miguel Alejandrino —Product trainer and musician, both are members of Comedy Cartel. Joining Miguel was his wife Ms. Alaine Alejandrino —full time data services manager and a part time blogger.
They also have a guest thru phone patch, Mr. Oscar Lizardo, the Chief Scientist Specialist and Researcher of Project NOAH (a program launched by the Department of Science and Technology to prevent disasters).
NOAH stands for Project Nationwide Operational Assessment of Hazards. The platform provides a color-coded map for areas that can be flooded (red, orange and yellow) in which the red warning is the most severe.
The first to talk on Vigattin Radio was Mr. Lizardo, he discussed the recent devastation brought by Habagat and Typhoon Mario. He also talked about the reasons why Metro Manila is easily flooded when a heavy rainfall comes.
He then invited the listeners to be updated on the latest weather insights provided by PAG-ASA and Project NOAH.
Later on, Juan Miguel Alejandrino and Rene Cruz Jr. talked about their comedy skits and on how they do it. When asked if how they start their comedy show; they told Vigattin Radio that it depends on the crowd but basically, they will introduce their selves to the crowd first.
The two also discussed their experiences on doing stand-up comedies where they just want to make some people happy. To watch them on stage, you can check Comedy Cartel’s upcoming gigs schedule at www.facebook.com/comedycartel.
Before the show ended, they give some parting words and invited listeners to watch their comedy shows. Vigattin Radio airs every Saturday, 10 to 11 AM at DZIQ Radyo Inquirer 990 AM.
