Cakes by Rea was established in 1994. Since then it has become a pioneer in Rizal in serving the best tasting home-baked flavored brownies and fudges. It was founded by Mrs. Aurea Cordero-Claravall, who earned her degree of Bachelor of Science in Food Service Administration at the University of Sto. Tomas in 1978.

The idea of putting up this line of business was the brainchild of her eldest son who was twelve years old at that time when he started booking orders from his classmates at Siena College. Later on the Dominican Sisters of the said college spread the news of healthy snacks baked by Rea to other schools and the rest is history. Richness in nutrition and flavor are her top priorities and her children were her inspiration for all of the recipes she created.

Now on its 17th year in the market, its dedication to supply nutritious, high-quality and delicious food and baked products carry on to more than a hundred schools, office canteens, supermarket and hypermarts, and later on established partnerships with food caterers and concessionaires for their desserts, pastries and cakes orders for all occasions.

Cakes by Rea prides itself of its humble beginnings, its method of traditional baking, itsuse of the finest ingredients, and its specialized skills and true artistic ideas to create outstanding and delectable cakes and pastries.

To date, Auro-Valley Confections, Inc. has expanded its line to large volume production of baked products, accepted food catering services and home cooked food delivery services. The company has maintained and will continue to maintain its thrust to deliver high quality products, gain a reputation as a reliable and a steady supplier to over 100 establishments in Rizal province and Metro Manila.

Through the coming years the company will continue its mission to become a well-rounded bakeshop and food catering organization, and be able to supply and serve more clients in Metro Manila and provincial areas as the company looks forward in expanding globally.
