Located on the slopes of Mt. Kanlaon in the town of Murcia, Mambukal Resort is managed and operated by the Provincial Government of Negros Occidental.


Not that many local government agencies in the country have had success in managing a resort. Mambukal is an exception.


The staff and guides are very polite and courteous, the accommodations and facilities are at par with many private high-class hotel and resorts, and the restaurants showcase the best of Negrense cooking.


At Mambukal there are over 20 waterfalls cascading from the slopes of the mountain. As well as many hot springs where you can re-energize your body and soul. At sunset you can see hundreds of bats coming out of the forest searching for their meals.
