A walk down to Mestizo District: the Jewel inside the Calle Crisologo

Calle Crisologo, also known as Mestizo District, is the provincial tourism center and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, preserved for the appreciation of the future generations. It features the cobbled streets and old Spanish houses as well as some of the historical landmarks of Vigan. It is the only town that was saved from destruction during World War II and preserved not only as a historical street like the ones in Intramuros, but also a tourist site which is full of life, especially during the Festival of the Arts.
