Honeymoon Island is just one of the many popular island in the Philippines famous for its pristine beauty that will definitely make a tourist visit the place especially to newlyweds who want to spend their honeymoon at an isolated area.


Located in the town of Divilacan, Isabela, Honeymoon Island is the perfect destination for couples to experience a total wonderful escapade. Honeymoon Island served as a sacred ground for the Agta tribe matrimonial rites where it got its name.

The island is surrounded by white-sand beaches and faces the Pacific Ocean. It also has a natural forest and a surrounding coral reef which is appropriate for diving. With its romantic sceneries, Honeymoon Island is perfect for lovers and travelers who wanted to seek a quiet paradise.


The place is truly a natural wonder where one will be amazed of its scenic views where visitors can savor and enjoy their stay in the heart-shaped island.


How to get there

Visitors who want to see the romantic island can get there by taking a 30 minute boat ride from the town proper of Divilacan.

By Air: One can reach the town of Divilacan through plane at Tuguegarao Airport or one can also book a flight at Cauayan Airport going to Maconacon. From Maconacon, Isabela, visitors can take a passenger jeepneys or trikes bound to Divilacan.

By Sea: From Tuguegarao City, one can take a van going to San Vicente, Santa Ana, Cagayan. The estimated travel time is three hours. Upon reaching San Vicente, visitors can take boats to Maconacon or Divilacan for 10 minutes.
