Dinagyang Festival is a religious festival done in Sto.Nino this 4th sunday of January. Dinagyang is IloIlo's version of Ati-Atihan. This was not only celebrated in IloIlo but also in some parts of the Philippines. It may not be as famous and traditional like other festivals, it was still awaited by many because of it's brilliant dances with colorful costumes and music performances.

Dinagyang Festival started from 1967 as the replica image of Sto.Nino was honored and brought to Cebu. In 1976, street dancing and audience participation was encouraged to participate the festival to have a break and enjoy the show. In the past few years, Dinagyang evolved from simple celebration to a traditional festival supported by the local government and private sectors. The word "Dagyang" is an Ilonggo word which means "to be happy". Literally, the festival was all about like a party to celebrate and a worth participated event. And because of that, Dinagyang was awarded as the country's tourism event of the year for three consecutive years from 2006-2008.

The Dinagyang Festival 2015 is led by it's active Mayor Jed Patrick E. Mabilog awarded the participants of the event.
