Everyone has a favorite place where they like to witness the sunrise. Mine is at Lalaan, San Jose, Negros Oriental. 
I never get tired of waking up early and drive to San Jose just to see the sun come out behind Cebu Island and paint the sky in various shades of pastel colors among the seaside Acacia trees and various tide pools.
