Buntot Palos Falls (Eel's Tail) is one of the hidden falls that can be found in Brgy. Balian, Pangil, Laguna. It has a height of around 80 meters. The falls is located on the mountain, so people should hike to the mountain first before reaching the falls. The hike will take more or less 10 minutes.

Your efforts in trekking will not go to waste because you will surely enjoy sightseeing while searching for the falls. Buntot Palos is really impressive; it descends from a cliff and falls on a collection of sharp rocks. Townsfolk called it “Kawa-Kawa”.

The coolness of the water that cascade from the head of the falls is ideal for swimming. The area is a perfect place summer outing, especially for people who love adventures.

How to get there

From Manila, ride a bus that has a trip going to Sta. Cruz, Laguna. From the terminals in Sta. Cruz, ride a jeep going to Siniloan, then tell the driver to drop you off at Pangil or Balian.
